Every month, the Pastoral Care team has endeavoured to complete a ‘Let’s Talk About It’ day with every year group on paper. This is done with their SPHE teachers and involves voicing any concerns they may have regarding their personal wellbeing. Following the success of this event, the Pastoral Care team has established a ‘Let’s Talk About It’ email address. This email has been established as an alternative, confidential resource for students to access on days outside of the set ‘Let’s Talk About It’ sessions. This has been done to ensure pupils always have a personal wellbeing resource they may access. Although this is a confidential resource, as mandated persons, the Pastoral Care team have a responsibility to notify TUSLA of any concerns they may have regarding any student. The email address will be attended to from Monday to Friday during school hours and will not be attended to on weekends.
Emails will be answered by Ms. Cleo McFarland and Ms. Tara Keenan. We are delighted to be able to provide students with another outlet to potentially voice any concerns they may have in school. We endeavour to provide a safe and welcoming environment for all our students in St Joseph of Cluny. We hope this new resource will contribute to maintaining this environment.
